When was the last time you saw one of these in this good shape? This one was auto, as are most, and inexplicably had a momo steering wheel.

They usually have all been transformed into rust by now.

I always lose my shit whenever I spot a pristine old car, even an 80's Camry. People look at me weird.

I actually thought about buying a 1989 Mercury Sable with 33,000kms on it, simply because it was stupidly mint

People look at me like I’m diseased when I’m going on some serious rant whilst driving, until suddenly, “WOW! A Mercury Topaz!”

I saw this beauty show up in a local dealer’s inventory last June. 1992 Tercel, one owner, automatic, no air conditioning, 55,000 miles. Asking price was around $4000-5000 if I recall correctly. The lack of A/C was kind of a deal-breaker for me, though.
